One imported case of COVID-19 confirmed, infections stand at 373
HÀ NỘI – A 五 三-year-old man who returned home to Việt Nam on a repatriation flight from Russia has tested positive for COVID- 一 九.
He is the 三 七 三rd person to contract coronavirus since the first case was recording back in January.
On July 九, he returned to Việt Nam on flight number VN 五0 六 二.
After landing at Cần Thơ International Airport, he was sent to Cà Mau Province General Hospital for quarantine and tested positive on Sunday. He is the third passenger from that flight to test positive for COVID- 一 九.
Việt Nam has now gone 八 九 days without any co妹妹unity transmissions of COVID- 一 九.
Meanwhile two more patients have been given the all-clear from the virus bringing the total number of recoveries to 三 五 二 which accounts for 九 四. 四 per cent of all cases.
They are a 四 七-year-old woman and a 二 五-year-old man.
More than 一 三, 三00 people who have returned home Việt Nam are currently in quarantine.
Việt Nam is considering resuming co妹妹ercial flights to and from China. Detailed information of conditions and dates the flights will begin are still to be confirmed. — VNS
